Phoenix Security provided security once again at this year's Northumberland Plate Festival

Phoenix Security provided both Door Supervisors and Phoenix Eye Stewards to manage the security for the Northumberland Plate Festival over the weekend.

This year, Door Supervisors were also provided to manage security across the event which included music as well as the prestigious racing.

On Friday night, Madness took to the stage to perform in front of 10, 500 people entertaining them with some of their famous hits such as House of Fun and It Must be Love.

On the Saturday crowds flocked to Gosforth Park Racecourse for champagne and a flutter on the horses as the festival culminated with the world famous John Smith's Northumberland Plate, or the "Pit-man's Derby," one of the highlights of the racing calendar and the North East's biggest racing event.

Phoenix Security provided the security at Newcastle Racecourse over the weekend, working alongside our Stewarding company Phoenix Eye to make the event safe and trouble free.

Providing Security for The Duke of Northumberland's Daughter's Wedding

Phoenix Security provided security at the social wedding of the year, held in Anwick Castle, Northumberland

Phoenix Security were among 500 wedding guests, including royals, as we provided security for the Duke of Northumberland's Daughter's Wedding on June 22nd at Alnwick Castle.

Lady Melissa Percy, the youngest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, married Thomas van Straubenzee in a local church before heading off to a lavish reception in Alnwick Castle, the Duke's ancestral family home.

Crowds flocked to the streets of Alnwick to cheer on the couple, and spot their famous and royal wedding guests who included both Prince William, Prince Harry and various other celebrities.

Phoenix Security also attended, providing security for the weddings guests and spectators.
