Phoenix Door Supervisors were involved in the rescue of 2 vulnerable males who were spotted in the River Wear

Phoenix Security would like to say a massive well done to Door Supervisors Daniel Thompson and Oliver Tims from the Boathouse in Durham along with Area Manager Dwayne McManus. All 3 were involved in the rescue of 2 vulnerable males who were spotted in the River Wear outside the Boathouse in Durham. The males were pulled from the river by the guys and taken to a place of safety where medical teams could tend to them. Both Door Supervisors and Dwayne have recently undertaken their Vulnerability Training which undoubtedly contributed towards their quick thinking and potentially lifesaving actions in this situation.

The first episode of Billion Dollar Chicken Shop will be aired on Wednesday March 18th at 9pm on BBC One.

KFC are clients of Phoenix Security and are going to be the subject of a new, fly-on-the-wall documentary series called "Billion Dollar Chicken Shop" The first of three episodes will be aired on Wednesday March 18th at 9pm on BBC One. Some of our employees may have been filmed although we dont believe they feature.

KFC said 'It features those who love us, and those who dont. The BBC believe it is a genuine reflection of modern Britain, seen through the eyes of an iconic brand. '

For the employees involved, appearing on national TV is a pretty unique experience and, as we are expecting the show to receive a fair degree of attention, in the unlikely event that you are approached by the media or if you have any questions or comments, we would ask that you contact either Jenny Packwood at KFC or the press office at freuds.

Thank you for supporting KFC and Phoenix Security, and we hope that you tune in and enjoy the show!

Door Supervisor Feedback

We received some excellent feedback about our Door Supervisor Mark Cooper. Well done, and keep up the good work!

'Mark Cooper is our regular doorman from Phoenix Security. We feel he goes above and beyond the remit of working our door, by being courteous to customers opening doors, and being extra friendly and engaging with passing pedestrians, and greeting all our customers that approach the entrance. He has an ability to defuse situations without them escalating, and anticipates what could be problem situations before they happen. He knows how to talk customers so they listen and respond without it getting out of control. He is vigilant to identify vulnerable people and ensure they receive the care and attention they need.'

Well done!
