Durham Christmas Lights switch on

Phoenix Security provide security at this year's event, kick starting the Christmas celebrations

Emmerdale stars, Matthew Wolfenden and Natalie Anderson, together with members of the Military wives choir helped switch on Durham's Christmas lights this year on Sunday 24th November.

Presenters from Metro radio were also at the event from early on entertaining the crowd waiting to see the Christmas lights.

Also entertaining the public were CCTV presenters and regular guests Alex Winters and the Rockin Robin show.

We provided security for the event, providing stewards to manage security and ensure everything ran smoothly.

It was great to be part of the beginning of the city's Christmas celebrations.

Well done to all our staff who worked - the event was a huge success!

A Thank-you from St. Cuthbert's Society JCR

Phoenix Security recieve thanks for security provided at an event.

On 22nd November Phoenix Security provided two members of staff for St. Cuthbert's Society JCR's Michaelmas Ball, which was held at Hardwick Hall Hotel in the Hardwick Country Park near Durham.

The Event Manager, Gabriel Currie, got in touch to thank our staff for their efforts and hard work at the event;

"Both Tracey Harrison and Chris Walton provided an exemplary level of service throughout the event. They were professional and very helpful to both event staff and guests, and were invaluable in the assistance they were able to provide me and the event staff. We simply could not have done the event without them"

An excellent job well done for our staff. Great work.
